Dr Campbell has grown up and worked in the Macarthur & Wollondilly Shires as a community pharmacist from 1985 to 1997 and then as a General Practitioner from 1997. He has been servicing 2 local nursing homes in the Wollondilly area for over 15 years and been involved as team doctor for sporting teams over the years. He has an interest in alternative therapies, such as acupuncture and herbal medicine which he uses to treat a variety of conditions if appropriate. He has recently completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) and has an interest in sports related injuries and nutrition.
Dr Jozwik is a graduate of RACGP with extensive experience in emergency medicine and a special interest in Skin Cancer, Chronic Disease Management and lifestyle improvements. She graduated from Medical school in 1983 in Poland. Dr Jozwik has many years of experience in all fields of General Practice.
She is fluent in Polish and English and can speak basic Russian and Italian.
Dr Skala Al-Dawoodi enjoys all aspects of General Practice with a particular interest in Skin cancer, completing a Dermatology Diploma with the Australian Institute of Dermatology in 2015, as well as skin cancer surgery with Healthcert in Dec 2017.
Dr Nishanthini Thillainadarajah (MBBS) is a GPT2 Registrar. She completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Sri Lanka. She did her residency at Latrobe regional hospital Traralgon Victoria and also worked in Westmead hospital Sydney and Liverpool hospital gaining extensive clinical experiences in various medical and surgical specialties.
She enjoys practicing evidence based family medicine for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic illness with a keen interest in Childrens health, Preventative health, Mental health, Antenatal care and Family planning. She believes in quality and continuity of care. In her spare time she is interested in gardening and spending time with her children and her puppy.
Dr Smyth studied Medicine at The University of Wollongong. He completed his formal hospital training at St George and Sutherland Hospitals in Sydney gaining experience in a broad range of medical and surgical specialities including Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics. He then did further General Practice Speciality training on the South Coast of NSW. Dr Smyth has further training in Skin Cancer Medicine (including skin checks and skin cancer surgery).
He has worked in a number of regional and rural areas across NSW including the North Coast, South Coast and Far West. He also has experience as an Immigration Health Officer and another degree in Economics.
Dr Smyth was drawn to General Practice because of the opportunity to practice ‘Cradle to Grave’, Holistic and Preventative medicine. He has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine, Chronic Disease Management and Paediatrics.
Dr Smyth consults on Wednesdays & Thursdays at The Oaks Medical Practice, he works closely with the long term doctors at both The Oaks Medical Centre and The Clinic at Tahmoor, he is also happy to take on new patients.
Our Practice Nurse Joanne has many years’ experience in general practice and assists our GP’s in providing clinical care. She is a Registered Nurse, has a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education. She also provides Women’s Health Screening which includes pap smears.
