COVID – 19 Changes

Dear Patients, Our practice has made some temporary changes due to COVID-19 pandemic:

PHONE OR VIDEO CONSULTATIONS

These are now available for the next 6mths to anyone with a valid Medicare card.

WAITING ROOM

We have closed our waiting room and you will need to phone us on 46571120 to let us know you are here and wait in your car.

RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS

We will provide you with a mask to wear and we will ask you to wait in your vehicle for your appointment. Phone reception to let them know you have arrived and they will call you back when the doctor is ready for you. If deemed necessary by our staff, our Doctor may visit you in your car.

NO WALK-INS

Our Surgery remains Open for face to face consults but you will need to phone for a booking 4657 1120.

PEOPLE EXPERIENCING: FEVER, COUGH, SORE THROAT, SHORTNESS OF BREATH

As well as recent overseas travel/contact with someone who has, will need to stay home and phone the practice for an urgent phone consultation. 4657 1120.We really appreciate your cooperation during this time.

Do not go here. Since Doctor Campbell sold the surgery it has gone down. They Will full well refuse you treatment or treatment OPTIONS even when the FDA very clearly outlines effects of NOT providing specific treatment or alternative options. Even if you tell them you need to speak to a doctor asap your mental health is struggling. The receptionist will yell at you and hang up on you. RUDE, unprofessional and they don’t follow patient care guidelines. If you care about your health and want to advocate for yourself, choose a different surgery.Practice manager will also try to discuss personal information with you and has complete access to your file, but some how misses doctors notes and prior doctors appointment outcomes by telling you things never happened at appointments

The Oaks Medical Practice staff are friendly and efficient. The doctors make you feel comfortable and relaxed. They remember you, so you don't need to re-tell your history. They also bulk bill which is great, in these current times.

I am so impressed with the doctors and staff at this practice. This is my local clinic and I haven't had the need to visit for a number of years until the other day when I nearly chopped my finger of with an axe. Being in a lockdown during covid as you can imagine they are extremely busy. They dropped everything for me, (at the end of the working day mind you) to stitch my finger up. They could have easily told me to go to a hospital, but they didn't. So caring and compassionate. I recommend
